What is a keto diet?
Keto diet changes the way your body converts food into energy. Eating a lot of fat and low levels of carbohydrates can cause you to get ketosis, a metabolic state where your body burns fat instead of carbohydrates. When the body cannot take carbohydrate glucose, the liver becomes the diet of your fat fatty acids in keto, which is another source of energy. Burning keto instead of glucose reduces inflammation and stimulates weight loss.
Ketone diet is not new, it has been around the century. It was originally developed for the treatment of patients with epilepsy. In 1920, scientists found that increases in blood ketone levels led to a reduction in seizures in patients. Ketone diet is still used today to treat children with epilepsy who have poor response to antiepileptic drugs.
Keto health benefits
Burning fat: You can reduce your weight – and soon – reduce the diet of ketoacid. Ketones suppress ghrelin – the hormone of hunger – and increase the cholecystokin, make you feel full. Decreasing appetite means that it is easier to eat for a long time, which encourages your body to go into fat care for energy. Learn more about ketone diets and weight loss here.
